當我又進入我們地區的網站，在地區廢物管理站的網址看到了下面這段新的告示：
請把你的萬聖節南瓜放在綠桶里。你可以切成小塊放在綠桶里，或者將整個南瓜放在綠桶里，或是綠桶的頂部！
記住去掉蠟燭和燈具。

Recycle your pumpkin this Halloween by green binning it.
For collection, cut it up into smaller pieces before placing it in the green bin, or leave it whole and place on top of the green bin.
Please remove all candles.
Pumpkins will be composted. Compost is a valuable soil amendment to help local farmers grow crops...maybe even more pumpkins!
有下面這些標誌的塑料袋是可以用來裝食品垃圾的，因為它們可以和食品一起被漚掉。其它的塑料袋子不能放在綠桶里。
Green bin materials in plastic grocery bags, or "degradeable" bags that do not have one of the above logos will not be collected.
