Ingredients: 1 cup rice,1 lb yellow and purple yam
Preparation: peel and chop the yam into big chunks ( Fig 1)
Cooking method: using the energy saving cooker inner pot to boil the yam for 5 min ( 5 min after the water boiling ), add rice, boil for 5 more min,switch off the fire and put the congee in the outer container for 1 hour,ready to eat.
