那时，上来过节礼拜的人中，有几个希利尼人。他们来见加利利伯赛大的腓力，求他说：先生，我们愿意见耶稣。（约翰福音12章20-21节）

　　我们谁都无法预知什么人会突然到访。

　　在今天要查考的事件中，有几个希利尼人来到耶稣撒冷过逾越节。我们现在如果这样说，是表示“几个来自希腊的人”。可是《圣经新约》所写作的时代，“希利尼人”代表了所有的非犹太人，类似外邦人。他们不是希腊的犹太人来守节。他们只是通过守节的犹太人了解到了这个传统而一同上来敬拜的外邦人。他们大概可以被归类为犹太教的外邦信徒或者敬畏神的人（与《使徒行传》第10章中提到的哥尼流一样），他们同样向神祷告，也关照穷人。

　　他们为什么要来见主耶稣呢？

　　毫无疑问，他们必然知道主耶稣洁净圣殿时所造成的轰动。因为这件事引发了全城的热议。如果那时候就有微信的话，有关主耶稣的信息一定爆屏了。微信上一定都是各种转发，“这个能水上行走的，能医病，能使死人复活的人到底是谁？”

　　这几个希利尼人也不确定主耶稣是否会接纳他们。所以他们选择先去接近腓力，然后腓力把消息传达给安得烈，然后他们又一起告诉了主耶稣。我们也不知道主耶稣最后是否面见了这些希利尼人，因为《圣经》里再没有提及他们。但是我们知道主耶稣用这样的场合宣告了祂要受死的时间即将到来。祂还解释了接下来要发生的事。一颗种子一定要死在地里，才能结出很多果实来，所以主耶稣也要受死才能带领多人信靠祂。主耶稣还在32节经文里加了一个奇妙的预言，“我若从地上被举起来，就要吸引万人来归我”。祂所指的就是祂接下来会被钉十字架受死的事。这些希利尼人必定也包括在那“万人”当中。在未钉十字架之前，我们就已经可以看到主耶稣极大的吸引力，引人归向祂。

　　德国神学家鲁道夫·斯蒂尔（Rudolf Stier）曾经解释了这些希利尼人归向主耶稣的重要意义：“这些‘西方’的人，在基督生命的尾声所预表的，也就是那些‘东方’的博士最初所预表的。”

　　没有人能预料到东方的博士们会去伯利恒寻找犹太人的王，也没有人能预料到希利尼人会去耶路撒冷寻找主耶稣。

　　也正因此，我们有盼望看见我们的家人朋友，和所爱的人信靠耶稣而得救。我们看不透别人的想法。我们如果有能力看透他们的内心，我们就必然会看到，虽然从表面上看他们现在好像离主很远，但是圣灵已经在他们的心里动工了。

　　不要绝望。

　　不要停止为他们祷告。

　　最后一点分享。很多年前，我去听李·罗伯逊（Dr. Lee Roberson）博士的布道会。讲台上放着他的圣经和讲稿，而它们上头还有一个牌匾，写着“先生，我们愿意见耶稣。”博士把这个标语放在那里就是为了提醒他自己（和在那里讲道的其他人），讲道的人担负有一个神圣的使命，就是凡事要彰显基督，奉祂为至高；总要把人引向主耶稣。

先生，我们愿意见耶稣。

　　世上充满着饥渴慕义的心灵。谁都无法预知何时会有人前来寻求主耶稣。我们要预备好将他们领到十字架脚前，带他们归向主。

　　主耶稣，谢谢祢为所有信靠祢的人打开了通向天国的大门。赐我信心让我能坚持不懈地为那些还不认识你的家人和朋友祷告。阿们。
