波音又摔飛機了。早就聽說波音是DEI的重災區，網上一查，果然如此。

Boeing recently dismantled its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) department, integrating it into a broader HR team focused on talent and employee experience. This move, part of a wider restructuring, shifts the company's focus towards a merit-based workplace, with hiring and promotion based on equal opportunity rather than specific DEI targets. The company has also removed references to DEI goals and aspirations from its website. 

我的搜查能力有限，無法考證哪些公司是自願的，哪些是被迫的。經常看到這樣的新聞，政府對承包商在DEI有硬性要求，不達標就不能參加競標。一位NIH的朋友說，NIH下屬27個研究所。每年的年度總結都要用一定篇幅說明在DEI的成績。

那麼，這種情況在共和黨治下是否也有。龐大的聯邦政府的慣性，不是換個總統就能解決的。這大概就是床鋪所說的華盛頓沼澤。所以床鋪一上台第一件事，就是砍DEI，儘管有些簡單粗暴，但可能也是唯一的辦法。
