Why highly educated women have even fewer children than highly educated men? The answer is very simple. Lions are bigger than lionesses. Male moose are bigger than female moose. Child birth is very costly for females. On average, it doesn’t pay for females to grow larger body than necessary. Similarly, on average, it doesn’t pay for females to get more education than necessary. This statement is not politically correct. It means that this statement is biologically and scientifically correct.
We have a choice. We can either strive for higher education and drive ourselves into distinction and extinction. Or we can follow nature’s law and live a more natural life. This doesn’t mean that no one should get a Ph.D. If you enjoy research, by all means. But one shouldn’t be coerced or seduced into higher education than necessary. |
