I went to my son’s concert. As soon as I went into the hallway, some students were trying to sell me chocolate bars. When I asked them where to buy tickets, they said to line up. That was a long line. Standing in the line, waves after waves of people came to sell raffle tickets and other stuff. I wish someone would come to sell concert tickets. Nope. Nobody come to sell concert tickets. We stand in the line for a long time. Everyone come to the concert door will attend the concert. There is no incentive to provide good service in selling concert tickets. But people may not buy chocolate or raffle tickets. That is why people are providing great service in selling chocolate and raffle tickets. These are the same group of high school students. But their attitudes towards different services are so different. Education, medical care and legal services are defined as human rights, as necessities. That is why we receive such poor services in these areas. If they become optional, we will get the same type of high quality service that we experience in other services.
