| The Mantis Girl |
| The Mantis Girl (part 1) One summer day, a young prince walked into the deep woods and reached a high water fall, where a girl was swiming in the pool at its foot. She was damned beautiful. It was a fanscinating experience to swim with her, but not a luck, as she was the daughter of the Monster of Praying Mantis. Though the young man gallantly waited till the girl well dressed and ready with her two strangely saw-like swords, the girl hadn't rendered any mercy in the fight. He fell... Finally after dropping the clean skeleton of her prey on the ground, the girl raised up her face, her lips, still so attractive is as rosy as the descending sun on the back of the romote mountains... | The waterfall hanged perpendicularly onto a deep crack amongst the huge rocks arround the waist of the mountain, above stood a pine with its stretching branches in the shape of an enormous eagle claw trying to crasp the clouds floating nearby. At the foot of the mountain, where the waterfall crushed like an avalanche, was a lake. It was summer time, the water flows over shore and then to a few ditches on the shallow slop, leading into the deep forest surrounding the spot. She was beautiful, no doubt. Judging from her silhouette in the dusk, she was much taller than the girls commonly seen in the towns nearby. Perhaps was the legend true, otherwise who would be in this remote mountain in this hour? The girl was packing her rugs, she passed without even a glance to the skeleton she just dropped there, and then into the thick fog beyond. There might be a secret path into the mountain somewhere along the lake, because the known path was some fifty miles the other side.
