昨天入住田納西州切塔努呷(Chattanooga)的火車旅館(Chattanooga Choo Choo)。這家旅館與眾不同，四十八節老式車廂停放在雙軌鐵道上，車廂內的行李架依舊，但車座被搬掉換成了沙發床，每節車廂還加上了衛生間，這就是旅館的客房。旅館的餐廳別具風格，有一個設在火車餐車上，由一節1941年的頭等餐車改裝而成。另一個餐廳設在原來的火車站候車室，

在七十年代以前，美國的南方鐵路是非常重要的交通工具。實際上，從1909年到1970年，所有到南方的火車都經過Chattanooga，使得該城市至今旅遊業都很發達。

作為電影Sun Valley Serenade的主題歌，這首歌曾經風行一時，排在1941年流行歌曲榜首。Chattanooga Choo Choo是當地重要的歷史文化見證，建了博物館，火車旅館也因此出名。遊客可以登上老式客車，體驗四十年前的火車旅行方式。

由於路途勞累和睏乏，剛睡下時對聲音渾然不覺，可是到了今天凌晨三點鐘，轟隆之聲不絕，攪得人難以入眠。剛開始象摩托車發動，後來像行進中的火車，過一會兒又像放“二踢腳”：啪-吱-唏-嘶-嘭！恰似春雷陣陣，猶如驚濤拍岸，一浪過後，又一浪打來，如此延綿不絕，害得我轉輾反側，無法入眠，只好起來，打開電腦，記下在這火車旅館第一夜的經歷。

雖說是出公差辦公事，但為了節約開支，同事K與我合住一間客房。這老兄的打鼾水平舉世無雙，聲調高，高過驚雷，賽過火車；音域寬，漂洋過海，綿綿不斷。我起床、開燈、沖澡他都渾然不覺，鼾聲不斷。下次出差，絕不能幹這種合住旅館的傻事。咳，都是經濟蕭條給鬧的。
