昨天，個人電腦雜誌（PC Magazine）發表一篇文章（http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2348705,00.asp）說，美國一家叫做Solid Oak Software 的軟件公司指控綠壩軟件盜用了他們的產品代碼。這家公司的CEO Brian Milburn 說，他們公司也有一個過濾軟件叫作CyberSitter, 而綠壩不僅使用了和CyberSitter相似的用戶界面，而且盜用了CyberSitter 的動態鏈接庫程序（DLL），這些DLL程序居然還要與Solid Oak Software的服務器相通信，提出更新版本的調用請求。
其實，最初發現這種盜版行為的並非Solid Oak Software公司。密歇根大學（University of Michigan）大學電子工程系的助理教授 Alex Halderman 對綠壩3.17版本軟件做了“反向工程”後發現，綠壩使用了CyberSitter 的內容，而且Alex 宣稱綠壩還有個安全缺陷。
Maybe the ones who were in charge got some benefits from the deal, who knows? That's the sad truth - so many so called "public servants" don't even think twice about wasting taxpayers' money, as long as they got something in their pockets. Without a good monitoring system, things like this will never cease to exist in China.
