My understanding is that all governments are more or less “birds of the same feather”. They may govern differently but for the same purpose – control. I feel discussing political issues in this space is really just “whistling in the wind”. Instead I prefer to treat WanWei as a place where I can “shoot the breeze” between work and family “to my heart’s content”, and have some fun over some white jokes that are “no skin off anyone’s nose”. To me, reading a good story or a funny joke after a long work week is “icing on the cake”. I tried doing this by posting some Friday jokes, thinking I would just “muddy the water”, but, “beyond my wildest dreams”, so many friends liked those jokes that I was totally “beside myself”. Needless to say it made me “smile from ear to ear”. However, I was soon out of material and found myself “at wit’s end”. I will have to find time to re-charge and get back on it soon.
