1. ace 顶呱呱,杰出

2. all wet 不现实,难以置信
Your ideas about politics are all wet. Things are much more complex than you imagined.
3. awesome 难忘,出色,棒极的
What an awesome sunset. It's a perfect finish to a beautiful day!
4. bent out of shape 烦恼,生气,"upset" 的同义词
Don't get so bent out of shape. It's really not that important.
5. big mouth 多嘴 (如:别这么多嘴!)
Shut up! You really have a big mouth. Now everyone knows the secret!
6. a big stink 大吵大闹,轩然大波
The citizens made a big stink about Maclean's magazine's recent article on Canada's universities being “too Asian”.
7. blow 浪费,挥霍
He blew all his money gambling. Now he has to borrow from his brother.
8. blow a fuse 大发雷霆
Hey, don't blow a fuse. It's such a silly little thing.
9. blow your cool 太紧张
Calm down. Don't blow your cool. Nothing can be that serious.
10. bomb 被“夷为平地”,彻底失败,惨败
(重要:911 后 bomb 已不幸成为很敏感的单词。此俚语千万勿用于机场安检处或任何政府机关或公共场所!!!!!!!!!!)
Hollywood thought they had a hit, but their new movie bombed.
11. make no bones about 不犹豫地表示,以“豁出去”的态度表示
John made no bones about his disdain for Mary's suggestion. He thinks her idea sucks.
12. going bonkers 发疯,惊慌,无法应付
I think I am going bonkers. It's just one thing after another. I can't deal with it any more.
