我愛Valentine’s Day
我愛被稱為情人節、朋友節、愛人節的Valentine’s
Day。不是因為它和一個長周末相聯，而因為這是一個提醒我們人間最重要的信息就是愛的信息的節日，如果你心中有愛，這個節日就是你真正的節日。
今年的情人節我在家裡發起一個活動，我給先生、兒子、女兒都準備了一張簡潔而花費不高的卡。我先生給我準備的卡呢，也就不得不提前亮相了。
我讓家裡每個人在給別的三個人的卡上寫上對他/她的愛的信息，也可以寫一個小建議希望哪方面做得更好。
2月14日早上，女兒悄悄地做好了早飯，是用蛋黃煎的兩個心型的蛋。蛋白也想煎成心形，但是沒有那麼成功。還用黑莓擺好了心的形狀，飯桌上一黑紅一金黃，煞是醒目。
中午飯後，我們打開了四張卡。每一個人都急切地想看到別的三個人寫給自己的愛的話。我看後很欣慰，兒子和女兒給彼此、給我們的話是用心寫就的。寫得真好，我把兄妹倆寫給彼此的話記在下面。
兒子收到的妹妹的話是：
Brother,
Happy Valentine’s Day! You’re a really cool brother and a
great role model. Also, I learned that you’re a super sweet dancer at r-chicken. You were balling so hard out there! You are the best one! Thanks for
always being there and Ｉ’m gonna miss you so much when you go to college.

女兒收到的哥哥的話是：
Dear Rosie,
Happy Valentine’s Day! I appreciate your humor & talents,
but especially your care for other people and animals. I don’t know how much
you’re spent doing extra work for your Holocaust book club, but it has definitely
been a lot. Your love for others (and Squishy) will take you far and make you a
great person in the future. Thanks for being that to the family! Keep it up!!
