Today was a sea day. Even so, the cruise ship hosted special activities, played games like the British "Olde fair" that sold their stocks, cattle, and food, and performed circuses in late summer. Since Oceania was a British company, it also hosted a similar country fair while sailing from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to Nosy Be, Madagascar, in the Indian Ocean. The country fair took place on the pool deck for an hour. When I arrived, I was astonished to see over twenty booths lined up, and each booth featured games of chance, games requiring skill, or guessing games. You will automatically get a Country Fair Raffle Ticket if participating in a game. If you won, you would have two. In the end, there will be a raffle. You would become the winner if the ticket had the same number as the winning ticket. Without any other explanation, everyone rushed to the games.
At first, it was hard for me to pick a game. Finally, I settled for throwing darts at the balloons. When I was finished, I spotted something AWESOME! People stood in line, trying to hit somebody with a wet sponge. As I got closer, I noticed it was Willie, the Cruise Director! I raced to the line and waited for what felt like forever. At last, it was my turn and I chucked the sponge as hard as possible. BULL EYE!
I collected the tickets and had so much fun until the captain asked for a stop! From then on, it was practically torture. The winning tickets had 5 numbers, but all my ticket numbers were less than a hundred. In the end, I didn't win anything.
Sometimes no matter how hard you work, luck is the only thing that really decides the result at the end.

今天又是海上航行日，我们从坦桑尼亚达累斯萨拉姆“安居处”开往马达加斯加诺西贝“大岛”，为此游轮特意将夏末英国本土贩卖家畜、牛羊、粮食及马戏表演等“老集市”古为今用，推出一系列“乡村集市”游艺活动，再加上“大洋·航海”号游轮属于英国公司，所以我们借鉴大不列颠传统民俗来调节航海生活，自在期待之中。
“乡村集市”设在游泳池两侧，为时一个钟头，我刚赶过来，立刻感觉到盛况非凡。20摊位依次排列，每个摊位都各自具有独特的娱乐类型，包括机会型、技巧型、或者猜谜型：每参加一项游戏，你将自动得到一张乡村集市奖票；如再力克群雄，那将得到两张奖票。活动结束前，还要举行抽奖活动，倘若所赢奖票号码与摇奖号码相同，你便成为中奖的幸运者，难怪大家情绪高昂，纷纷投入各项游戏项目之中。
初次参加“乡村集市”，我有点丈儿摸不到头脑，搞不清如何挑选游戏项目，最后先锁定投掷飞镖打气球，结束上一个游戏后，我发觉下一个特棒！大家排队准备用湿海绵向某人砸去，等走近定晴一看，原来被砸的那人竟是游轮总监威利“保护者”！我实在按捺不住内心激动，立刻加入他们的行列，等好不容易轮到我冲锋陷阵，我撵紧海绵猛力一投，打中了！
我兴致勃勃地参加多种游艺项目，并且收集了不少奖票，玩兴有增无已，直到船长喊话叫停。摇奖催人泪悲，获奖号码有五位数字，而我每张号码至少差出100以上，结果没赢任何东西。 有些时候无论你多拼命卖力，到头来还要靠运气决定胜负，正所谓“谋事在人成事在天”。 Today in History(历史上的今天): 2012: Cape Horn, Chile(智利号角岬—狂暴50度)  Country Fair on Nautica Oceania Cruising from Tanzania to Madagascar
