程度，老鼠悄么声出来观望， 大池塘及其百合花碎屑，所有这些 都被想象成必然的认知， 所求的，根据需要。 【注】费尔蒙“美山”公园是费城“兄弟之爱”最大的市政公园，比纽约“新紫衫树之地”中央公园大上好几倍——斯库尔基尔“暗”(Schuylkill)河像一把温柔的刀，将公园切成东西两半：河东是规整草坪与步道，河西是起伏山丘与茂密树林。西费尔蒙公园被誉为“没有围墙的博物馆”，漫步其间随处撞见承载历史的建筑与雕塑，而它之所以重要，正因这里是1876年美国首次世博会的举办地——恰值《独立宣言》通过100周年，那些为世博会而建的地标性建筑因此具有划时代的意义。巨大的纪念会堂如今已是国家历史地标，当年成千上万人涌进穹顶之下惊叹于全世界的发明与艺术；巍峨的哥伦比亚“鸽子”铁路桥曾是美国工业革命的见证者；散落林间的各国展馆遗迹虽已荒废，却依然诉说着百年前的辉煌。 今天借助去费城观赏宇宙之魂马戏团的机会，我得以再度顺访西费尔蒙公园。秋日午后阳光透过树叶洒下斑驳光影，草地上有人野餐，小径上情侣牵手漫步，山丘上孩子们追逐风筝——那些曾见证世博会辉煌的建筑此刻静静矗立，像沉默的长者看着新一代人在脚下嬉戏玩耍。我站在纪念会堂前想象1876年的场景：穿着紧身胸衣的女士撑着阳伞，戴着高礼帽的绅士举着望远镜，孩子们在喷泉边尖叫奔跑——那是美国的第一个百年，工业革命的黄金时代。而今天是2023年，第247年，历史就这样一圈一圈画着年轮，我们不过是其中的一个圆点。野餐的人正在收拾餐布，孩子们的风筝线缠在了树枝上，一个父亲正踮着脚试图解开，他的女儿仰着头替他指引方向，而那座纪念会堂就在他们身后，巨大的穹顶被夕阳染成暖橙色，像一枚被时间反复擦拭过的旧勋章。 天色渐暗，我转身离开西费尔蒙公园，心里默默对那些沉默的建筑说：幸好你们还在。是你们让一个普通人在某个秋日下午，用指尖碰触到一个半世纪前的呼吸——撑阳伞的女士们早已不在，可她们走过的台阶我此刻正踩着；展出的机器早已锈蚀，可它们曾立在这片草地上的事实，让今天的风筝依然能飞得更高。也许一座城市最深厚的财富，不是它正在建造什么，而是它保留了哪些“已不再被需要”的东西：一座不再举办博览会的会堂，一座不再通火车的铁路桥，一些散落在林间、无人问津却未被拆除的展馆残基。它们不为任何目的而存在，只是因为曾经发生过的事值得被记住——而记住本身，就是一种不需要理由的坚持。 1972年，费尔蒙公园被纳入《国家史遗名录》。 Today in History(历史上的今天): 2023: Immersive UniverSoul Circus, Philly(费城·沉浸式宇宙灵魂马戏团) 2012年光华四年级B班壁报《我的暑假》(2012 G4B Poster)  Stone Gazebo (石凉亭 05-22-2000)
