【注】幾個世紀以來，運河一直是布魯日“橋”城的水路命脈，也是歐洲貿易的主要樞紐。它們強勁地助推了本土歷史文明的生發與傳播——那些從北海湧來的潮汐，不僅帶來了貨物與財富，也帶來了遠方的語言、信仰與藝術，難怪這座中世紀小城被譽為“北方的威尼斯”。 乘船遊覽，是一種進入布魯日的方式，也是一種被布魯日擁抱的方式。迪弗爾“聖水”運河、黃金運河、格羅內雷“綠光”運河、愛之湖運河——它們蜿蜒穿過紅牆、橙瓦、灰蓋的小橋人家，像一條條流動的絲帶，將這座中世紀小城溫柔地纏繞。每個轉彎處都呈現眼花繚亂的各色風情：一座爬滿常青藤的石橋，一扇半掩的雕花木窗，一座尖頂刺破天際的教堂……我痴迷地俯身船舷，探索水中的倒影——那是一座顛倒的神秘花園，浪漫的橋梁與古老的建築在水中微微顫動，仿佛隨時會從漣漪中升起另一個布魯日。 隨着夜幕降臨，成群結隊的遊人漸漸散去。運河兩岸的燈火次第亮起，在水面上投下長長的光影。時間，仿佛停在運河上，靜止不動。這一刻，布魯日終於卸下了白日的喧囂，露出它最真實的模樣——一座被水溫柔環抱的中世紀夢境。 而那水中微微顫動的倒影，正是這座城市寫給時間的，最深情的情書。 Today in History(歷史上的今天):
