I've traveled around the globe and always feel the same. The last day is always the time when my perfect vacation gets ruined. I was sorrowful when I woke up today, knowing that today would be the last day of paradise in Mexico. Once I return, I'll be going back to something like a prison called school and being forced to do experiments on paper that harm the brain and measure my intellect. If I decided not to cooperate, the punishment would be horrible. I would be asked to wake up and go to school early! My getaway is too short to get used to the relaxing atmosphere. As I walked along the beach for one final time, I knew that this trip would be one to be remembered, preserved, and recorded in my journal for as long as I lived. At last, it was time to leave. Our bags were packed and ready to go. We were escorted to the airport and checked in. The Cancun International Airport (CUN) looked more significant than the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). There were fancy restaurants and souvenir shops everywhere. It seemed like a mall, but an expensive mall. It was a fantastic sight, but I wasn't in the moment. All that time, I was reflecting on this getaway and the information on the Mayan culture. The Mayans were unique, unlike any other culture I've ever encountered. Impressively, their religion was based on science and logic. It sounded alien because most civilizations went through simple daily routines. The Mayans took it a step further, exploring advanced astronomy. I am amazed by the intelligence of the Mayans of their time. Mexico is very different from what we look at back home. Cancun and the Yucatan Peninsula are peaceful, and its citizens are extremely friendly, making our vacation memorable. 【紅霞譯】
我不斷環球旅行，每次旅途歸來不無傷感，最後一天永遠、永遠都是快樂出遊中情緒最低落的日子，這回也不例外。天下沒有不散的筵席！早晨剛剛醒來，我立馬心生惆悵，仙境般的生活即將離去，今天過後我重返故地，回歸到那個貌似監獄的學校，無奈地做實驗寫報告，去摧殘大腦應對考試；我若不積極參與，後果不堪設想，起碼得早起趕往學校罰做早自習！
本趟墨西哥“月球的肚臍”逍遙遊的行程太短，我尚未來得及適應輕鬆的氛圍。今天臨別前我得閒到海邊做最後的辭行，如同往常出遊一樣，坎昆“蛇窩”之行印象深刻受益匪淺，我定會用文字記錄下來，讓記憶栩栩如生。 終於到了該離開的時刻，我們打點好行裝，被接送到機場辦理登機手續。坎昆國際機場看上去比費城“兄弟情誼”國際機場要大出很多，高檔餐館時髦禮品店應接不暇，跟商場沒什麼兩樣，只不過價格不菲。琳琅滿目的物品並未吸引本人的注意力，相反我一直念念不忘過去幾天耳聞目睹的瑪雅“幻覺”文化。瑪雅人相當獨特，與其它我所見識的民族不同，他們信仰的宗教注重科學邏輯，在我看來簡直不可思議，因為大多數文明社會只顧打理日常生活，而瑪雅人確實具有前瞻性，並勇於探索高深的天文學，我對那個時代瑪雅人的聰明才智佩服得五體投地。 墨西哥與我們來之前想像的大相徑庭，坎昆和尤卡坦“富饒之地”半島非常祥和，當地人特別友好，更使我們的渡假旅遊難以相忘。  Catamaran, Sailing from the Best of the Caribbean Coast w/ Sunshine
