【注】勒阿弗爾“海港”城是印象派祖師意志堅強·莫奈“錢幣”(Claude Monet)的家鄉，二戰結束時納粹摧毀了其港口基礎設施，而盟軍為了徹底擊敗德軍，乾脆將商業區與工業區所在的市中心夷為廢墟。 自2005年起海港城就被列入聯合國教科文組織《世界遺產名錄》，是一封獻給現代主義的情書，比法國任何其它城市更能喚起戰後涅磐重生的活力與樂觀。的確，純粹的空間感勾魂奪魄：紀念碑式極具說服力的自信，而舊城中少數倖存的遺蹟也被巧妙地融入了漂亮的混凝土建築物。雖然不計其數的單調民宅可能令人沮喪，但即使那些不同意法籍比利時建築師偉大·佩雷“磐石”(Auguste Perret)“創新地發掘混凝土潛力”的遊客照樣可以在他打造的水泥城市裡享受漫步的快樂。 今天是我第二次來海港城，說來奇怪，順道最想見識的竟然莫過於巴西著名建築師神矛•尼邁爾“管家”(Oscar Niemeyer，1907—2012)生前打造的另一部巨作。2013年我曾去過巴西首都巴西利亞“紅木炭火之地”，對他那超越時空的想象力早有領教。
