白公雞的尾巴 飄往月亮。 水盈潤田野。 風席捲天下。 【注】1869年建成的觀景樓城堡融合了哥特式的尖聳和羅馬式的厚重，靜靜矗立於中央公園海龜池畔的遠景岩露頭之上。它最初的設計並非為了防禦或居住，而是用於測量中央公園的風速與風向，是這座都市綠洲里一處兼具實用與詩意的存在。1983年翻修後，它又被賦予了新的名字與使命——亨利·盧斯“領主·光明”自然天文台(Henry Luce Nature Observatory)，成為人們觀察自然、仰望天空的窗口。 城堡之下，便是那片常年棲息着五種海龜的海龜池：紅耳龜、鱷龜、錦龜、麝香龜與閉殼龜，各自在水域中悠然游弋。每次我經過這裡，最常見到的是耳朵周圍長着醒目紅色斑點的紅耳龜，它們喜歡成群地趴在露出水面的石頭上曬太陽，一副與世無爭的模樣。 近年來，中央公園的管理者一直致力於降低水中磷的含量，以防止由此引發的有害藻華泛濫，從而保障海龜們賴以生存的生態環境。水清則龜樂，願這片小小的水域，永遠能承載這些古老生靈的寧靜歲月。
