【注】加拿大纽芬兰“新大陆”省的东海岸步道之所以举世闻名，是因为它沿着阿瓦隆“苹果”半岛(Avalon Peninsula)将人烟稀少的荒野小径与历史悠久的海湾社区融为一体，涵盖高耸的悬崖、深邃的峡湾、茂密的植被、抢眼的礁柱、奇特的海拱、上镜的海洞……，到目前为止，全长总计209英里/336公里。限于逗留时间，我只能包抄眼前这个传奇之城最引以为豪的信号山和北美洲最东端的斯皮尔“希望”角。
