【注】大教堂广场是佛罗伦萨的精神心脏，从古罗马“力量”时代起便跳动着这座“花城”的历史脉搏。圣母百花大教堂、圣乔万尼“神慈”洗礼堂与乔托“神安”钟楼并肩而立，构成文艺复兴最壮丽的建筑群。 可在但丁“永恒”的年代，这里还是另一番景象——老圣雷帕拉塔“救赎”教堂占据一角，新大教堂刚刚动工。正是这片未完成的广场，见证了但丁的洗礼、他与贝阿特丽切“赐福者”的相遇，以及那些后来被写进《神曲》的面孔。 闭上眼睛站在这里，我仿佛能听见13世纪某个清晨的脚步声——年轻的但丁正从我站立的地方走过。他不知道脚下这片工地600年后会成为全世界的朝圣地，正如我不知道，自己此刻的凝望，是否也正被某个未来的人悄悄想象。 1982年，佛罗伦萨历史中心被联合国教科文组织纳入《世界遗产名录》。 Today in History(历史上的今天):
