The denouement has to be postponed… This is nothing until in a single man contained, Nothing until this named thing nameless is And is destroyed. He opens the door of his house On flames. The scholar of one candle sees An Arctic effulgence flaring on the frame Of everything he is. And he feels afraid. —— • —— • —— • —— • —— • —— • —— • —— 【《秋天的极光·之六》(1948年)】 异乡人·史蒂文斯(1879生—1955卒) 【红霞译】 宇宙剧场漂浮在云端， 虽为白云，却貌似雾状的岩石 山环水流，一波又一波， 透过光线。白云飘动离去 再幻化归来，悠然自得，恰如 无尽转换的绚烂时节， 除了变化的奢华， 流光将黄色变为金色而金色 承载乳白的元素和火焰的喜悦， 到处传扬不仅因为热爱流光溢彩 并且真切享受苍穹浩瀚 白云悠然自得飘过掩影的奇幻。 宇宙剧场满是飞鸟， 天然的楔状，火山的烟雾，辟邪的眼睛 突然消失，蜘蛛网在过道里 乃至刚劲的柱廊上。擎天神庙， 也许就是、正在浮现或刚刚 崩溃。不得不推迟收场…… 除非单身汉出现， 除非称呼无名物 彻底废弃。他打开家门 火焰喷射。秉烛夜战的学者望见 璀璨的极光闪耀在 他的世界。令其心生恐惧。
【注】从未想到中秋十月北极光会出现在北纬40o的大费城地区，地磁风暴如此疯狂，以致紫色和绿色光芒划过天空，让我不出家门便可欣赏到五彩缤纷的夜光秀。当然，如若不借用装有红外滤光片的智能手机或相机，肉眼无法捕捉到今明两晚大自然奇观。 不知道地处相同纬度的北京是否出现同一景观？ Today in History(历史上的今天): 小学一年级·周末(2009 Weekend)
