【注】北非的摩洛哥“神地”與南歐的西班牙加那利“狗島”(Canary Is)和葡萄牙馬德拉“木材”島(Madeira Is)一直是我心心念念想要踏足的去處，跟熟識40餘年的學姐衛真暢敘心懷，聊起這些遠方的名字，想不到一拍即合——有錢有閒有心的閨蜜，就是這麼任性！於是，我倆從加利福尼亞“火爐”州和賓西法尼亞“山林”州分頭行動，約好在意大利羅馬“力量之城”會合，然後再一同乘坐“大洋·濱海”號(Oceania Marina)遊輪開啟23天兩條航線第一段行程——摩洛哥與加那利奇妙之旅。

因為全權委託遊輪操持往返機票，結果到手的並非直飛，而是從美東費城“兄弟之愛”取道加拿大蒙特利爾“皇家山”，再轉飛羅馬古城港(Civitavecchia)登船。疫情後，飛機晚點已是家常便飯，對此我早就做好了拉練式的心理準備。

今天下午，儘管加拿大航空始發飛機早已就位多時，卻因為歸航機組遲到，由費城前往蒙特利爾的班機晚點起飛一個多鐘頭。好在航空公司還算仁義，余出將近50分鐘的時間，足已讓我遊刃於蒙特利爾的國內和國際航站樓之間。等我一路狂奔集結到聯運登機口時，正巧趕上排着長龍的隊伍開始檢票——時間剛剛好，仿佛一切都在冥冥中安排妥當。
