【注】波爾多“水邊”名氣大，從前只知它為葡萄酒的首府，杯中那深紅的液體，仿佛已濃縮了整座城市的性格。直到親臨其境，才發覺它的底蘊遠比橡木桶深邃——2,000多年的文化脈絡，在街巷與石牆間蜿蜒鋪展。啟蒙時代為這座城市注入了理性的光輝，17世紀的古典主義、18世紀的新古典主義，以整齊的石砌立面與恢弘的廣場，構成一部凝固的哲學著作。即便歷經革命與動盪，波爾多始終沒有丟失自己的美學基因。那是一種經過思慮的從容——孟德斯鳩與蒙田曾在此生活與寫作，他們的思考仿佛滲透進牆縫與窗櫺之間，使這座城市在引領葡萄酒潮流的同時，也成為生活藝術的範本。

聖安德烈“勇敢”大教堂的尖頂刺破天際，大劇院的廊柱撐起18世紀的輝煌，水鏡廣場倒映着石牆與雲影——每一處古蹟都是一頁翻開的史書。波爾多的建築密度僅次於巴黎，但它的氣韻比任何數字都更動人。走在老城區的石板路上，那些石砌立面靜靜立在兩側，並不刻意炫耀什麼，只是以它們存在的方式訴說着時間的耐心。它們仿佛在說：美不需要解釋，只需在場。而正是這種沉默的在場，讓這座城市多了一種讓人願意慢下來的重量。

黃昏時分，我站在加龍“多石”河畔，看水鏡廣場的薄霧在石板上緩緩鋪開，把天空、教堂與行人的影子一併納入懷中。那一刻，我忽然覺得，波爾多的美不是被建造出來的，是被時間一點一點養出來的——像一瓶好的葡萄酒，需要歲月在橡木桶里慢慢轉譯，才能把陽光、泥土與氣候，凝成一種可以被喝下去的記憶。而我站在這裡，也像一隻尚未開啟的木桶，被這座城市無聲地倒入了某種持續發酵中的東西，它們正沿着我的呼吸，緩緩沉澱為我無法立刻辨認、卻能夠持久回味的質地。它不急於告訴我答案，只讓我帶着一種被時間善待過的感受，繼續走進夜色里——那座倒映在石板上的塔尖，還在微微搖晃，像一句尚未成形卻已經被允許說出的句子，正被風吹向更遠的河面。而我帶着它，繼續走着，仿佛被一件更古老也更輕盈的容器接住了。那一刻，波爾多不再是一座城市，而是一種可以隨身攜帶的尺度——它教會我，美有時不是用來理解的，而是用來緩慢地住在其中的。而它自己，也在用2,000年的時間，教會石頭和酒如何一起變老，一起成為可以被傾聽的時間。

2007年，波爾多被聯合國教科文組織列入《世界遺產名錄》。
