       The politics of emotion must appear

       And of the worlds of logic in their great tombs.

       Lakes are more reasonable than oceans. Hence,

       A promenade amid the grandeurs of the mind,

       By a lake, with clouds like lights, among great tombs,

       Gives one a blank uneasiness, as if

       One might meet Konstantinov, who would interrupt

       With his lunacy. He would not be aware of the lake.

       He would be the lunatic of one idea

       In a world of ideas, who would have all the people

       Live, work, suffer, and die in that idea

       In a world of ideas. He would not be aware of the clouds,

       Lighting the martyrs of logic with white fire.

       His extreme of logic would be illogical.

            還有其古墳的邏輯世界。

            湖泊比海洋更合乎情理。因而，

            崇高思想中的長廊，

            湖岸邊，照明的白雲，古墳間，

            讓人無動於衷，仿佛

            人們遇見不變者，他會打斷談話

            神經失常地。他未必看到湖泊。

            他恐怕是單一思維的瘋子

            即使世間萬象，希望所有人

            按其生活、工作、受苦並死去

            即使世間萬象。他未必看到白雲，

            用蒼火點亮邏輯殉道者。

            他的極端邏輯不合邏輯。

今天是中國的除夕。

按照往年的習慣，此刻應該是在家裡，擺上一桌年夜飯，雞鴨魚肉，一樣不能少。但今年，有些不一樣。

我們把年夜飯搬到了不久前才來過兩回的火山麻辣燙。

火山麻辣燙，聽這名字就知道不是什麼高檔地方。紅彤彤的招牌，熱騰騰的蒸汽，滿屋子的麻辣香氣。座位有點擠，桌子有點油，但就是有一種說不出的熱鬧勁兒。

說來也怪，這家店，我們半個月內居然來了三回。

第一回，是偶然路過，被那股香味勾進去的。第二回，是孩子想吃，特意繞道來的。第三回，就是今天——除夕夜，年夜飯。

為什麼是麻辣燙？

我也說不清。或許是吃膩了傳統年夜飯的繁文縟節，或許是懶得在家折騰那一大桌子菜，又或許，只是想在這樣一個特殊的夜晚，換一種方式過。

但更深的原因，大概是因為這家店的熱鬧。

麻辣燙店裡，永遠是人聲鼎沸的。煮湯的咕嘟聲，碗筷的碰撞聲，食客的談笑聲，混在一起，像一首熱氣騰騰的交響曲。坐在這裡，你不會覺得冷清，不會覺得孤單。即便是在異國他鄉的除夕夜，即便身邊沒有七大姑八大姨的喧譁，你也能被這種熱鬧包裹着，感受到一種樸素的溫暖。

老闆來自紐約“新紫衫樹之地”，認得我們，笑着說：“又來了？今天除夕，給你們多加點料！”

於是那一碗麻辣燙，比平時更豐盛了些。牛肉、毛肚、藕片、木耳、豆腐泡……紅油浮在湯麵上，辣椒和花椒的香氣直往鼻子裡鑽。我們三個人，一人一大碗，吃得滿頭大汗，吃得心滿意足。

心安處，即是吾鄉。

吃完麻辣燙，走出店門，外面的街上很安靜。遠處隱約有煙花的聲音，大概是哪家華人在慶祝。

孩子忽然說：“明年除夕，我們還來這兒吧？”

我和外婆對視一眼，笑了。

“行，只要這店還在，咱們就來。”

那一刻，我忽然想起那個叫康斯坦丁諾夫的瘋子——那個神賜的、高貴的、恆定不變的人。

或許，我們每個人心裡，都有一點“一根筋”的東西。比如堅持每年除夕吃一頓好的，比如固執地尋找某種屬於自己家的味道，比如在這個變幻無常的世界裡，守住一些小小的、不變的習慣。

它們看似微不足道，卻是我們對抗虛無的方式。

神賜的，高貴的，恆定不變的。

哪怕只是吃一碗麻辣燙。
