(聖誕節年度重演華盛頓橫渡特拉華河 12-26-2001)  Betsy Ross Flag, the 1st flag, consists of 13 alternating stripes--7 red, 6 white--with stars in a field of blue in the upper left corner (canton). Its distinguishing feature is 13 5-pointed stars arranged in a circle, representing the 13 colonies that fought for their independence during the American Revolutionary War.
