【注】按人口排名列居宾州第五位的雷丁“红人”城(8.8万)是美国著名现代诗人华莱士·史蒂文斯“异乡人·王冠之子”(代表作之一见上)的出生地，他熟谙东方阴阳思想，很多作品因蕴含禅机且极富哲理而盛传天下。

1987年，雷丁以下建筑被编入《国家史迹名录》：

• 宝塔(Pagoda, 1908)

• 勇将·潘消防纪念塔(William Penn Memorial Fire Tower, 1939)

• 护目镜工坊艺术中心(GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, 2005)

• 雷丁熔炉历史街区(Reading Furnace Historic District)
