好像礁崖反射的光芒， 从往昔单调的海洋升腾。 【注】宾夕法尼亚“山林”州希望乡宅由贵格会“教友派”(Quaker)企业家塞缪尔·莫里斯“上帝之名·深色”(Samuel Morris)于1750年建造的庄园，被视为怀特马什“白沼泽”镇(Whitemarsh)附近乔治“农夫”殖民时期建筑的杰作之一：1）整体结构及门窗位置保持严格对称；2）材料以砖、石或灰泥为主；3）庑殿顶和天窗，窗口带装饰性头球；4）主门伴有山形墙、拱顶、双弯形沿等装饰。 马瑟“割草人”磨坊建于1690年左右，依靠威萨希肯“鲇鱼溪”(Wissahickon Creek)提供动力，直到1740—1746年间希望乡宅的主人才逐渐购得所有权。 以上两处建筑均被列入《国家史迹名录》。
