【注】馬賽“泉港”塔羅“愚者”，名字裡帶着法蘭西的海港氣息，根卻埋在意大利北部的宮廷里。15世紀，米蘭“平原中央”與費拉拉“鐵礦”的貴族們把玩着這些繪製精美的紙牌，那時它還只是上流社會的消遣。後來，製作技藝翻越阿爾卑斯“白”山，在馬賽落腳。18世紀，當地印刷作坊開始大量生產，簡潔明快的版畫風格，紅黃藍綠交織的色彩，隨着商船與驛車銷往整個歐洲。於是，“馬賽塔羅”這個名字就這樣被歷史叫響了。

一套完整的馬賽塔羅，是78扇並排打開的窗。22張大阿爾卡納“秘儀”，從0號“愚人”到21號“世界”，鋪開的是靈魂的成長軌跡——死亡不是終結，高塔的崩塌里藏着重建的可能。56張小阿爾卡納，權杖、聖杯、寶劍、錢幣，對應着火、水、風、土，把日常的勞作、愛恨、思考與生存細細描摹。馬賽的風格從不繁複，它畫面質樸，線條硬朗，甚至有些笨拙。但也正是這份直接，讓每一張牌都像一句不肯修飾的老實話，不討好，不繞彎。

我第一次認真看馬賽塔羅，是在一段格外擰巴的日子裡。那時我更迷戀那些畫風華麗、象徵符號堆疊的牌面，覺得那才叫“有深度”。馬賽在我眼裡，太素了，太直了，像個不會聊天的老人。直到有一天，我抽出了“高塔”——閃電劈下，牆體崩裂，兩個人從高處墜落。我看着那張畫，忽然覺得它在看我。它不是要嚇我，而是在說：你心裡那座早該拆掉的塔，還在硬撐着吧。那一瞬間，我不再把它當一副牌看，而是一個不會說謊的老朋友。別的牌或許陪你做夢，馬賽塔羅只陪你醒着。洗牌，切牌，抽牌。78張牌，78個可能性。每一次抽牌，都是一次與未知的對話。
