            诚然河流像猪一样流着鼻涕，

            岸边迂回，直到它们在

            催眠的波谷中发出枯燥的咕噜声，

            空气中弥漫着这些猪的骚味，

            盛夏酷暑的气息，还有

            霹雳啪啦沉重的雷鸣声，

            建造这间小木屋的伙计，种下

            这片田地，打理了一阵儿，

            毫无古怪意象，

            在其百般聊赖的日子里，

            怪诞伴着河岸的鼻涕，

            这种疲惫感及雷鸣声，

            似乎耗尽他干瘪的身躯，

            如同耗尽猪一样的河流

            当它们面朝大海流向入海口。

86年前母亲诞生在旧社会的正月廿五，其寿辰自然按照阴历计算，直到廿年前老人家定居美国之后，除了传统的家宴外，我们还强加了阳历庆典，希望好事成双百福并臻。
