【注】内塞巴尔“午日城”坐落在黑海沿岸岩石半岛上，拥有至少3,200年的历史，最初是色雷斯“勇敢”人的聚居地——旧时的梅内布里亚“午日城”。

1960年好莱坞史诗历史剧情片《斯巴达克斯》就是有关公元前73年色雷斯的故事，这位奴隶兼角斗士在第三次奴隶战争期间领导了反抗罗马的起义。

公元前73年，中国正处于西汉时期，也就是汉武帝去世后的第12年、汉昭帝执政时期。此时汉朝已经进入了相对稳定的发展阶段，社会经济有所恢复和提高，但同时也面临着一些内忧外患。

1983年，内塞巴尔古城被联合国教科文组织纳入《世界遗产名录》。
