【Aiden in English】
Math24 isn't a well-known game worldwide. It requires skill and speed, which I have. This is why I was one of the select competitors who represented Montgomery to participate in the Math24 Tournament among 10 elementary schools in the North Penn School District this year. On the way, my head was about to explode. I would be in a sticky situation if every school had players like those at my school. But that wasn't the case. Round 1: 43 points; Round 2: 42 points; Round 3: 37 points. Since each deck of cards had 50ish points, getting around 40 was spectacular in each round. And that was how I won the tournament. Every round, I was in the game on the ball. You may say it was "on fire," which was how I felt in the heat of the competition. The 1st place was all mine. However, what made this a truly fantastic victory was that I topped 2nd place by a square of 22 points. Yet I wasn't happy too much. Last year, a 6th grader called J. P. held the record with a whopping 131 points. Today, I fell short barely. But I have a chance to challenge what he has achieved at his age next year. There is hope, and I will strive to beat his record. I know I will.
