        Math24 isn't a well-known game worldwide. It requires skill and speed, which I have. This is why I was one of the select competitors who represented Montgomery to participate in the Math24 Tournament among 10 elementary schools in the North Penn School District this year.

        On the way, my head was about to explode. I would be in a sticky situation if every school had players like those at my school. But that wasn't the case. Round 1: 43 points; Round 2: 42 points; Round 3: 37 points. Since each deck of cards had 50ish points, getting around 40 was spectacular in each round. And that was how I won the tournament. Every round, I was in the game on the ball. You may say it was "on fire," which was how I felt in the heat of the competition. The 1st place was all mine.

        However, what made this a truly fantastic victory was that I topped 2^nd place by a square of 22 points. Yet I wasn't happy too much. Last year, a 6^th grader called J. P. held the record with a whopping 131 points. Today, I fell short barely. But I have a chance to challenge what he has achieved at his age next year. There is hope, and I will strive to beat his record. I know I will.

        在全世界範圍內，口算24點並非廣為流傳。它既講究技巧，又追求速度，正因為我恰好具備兩方面優勢，所以我有資格代表蒙哥馬利“巨人山”小學參加北賓夕法尼亞“山林”學區十所小學共同舉行的2014年口算24點錦標賽。

        比賽期間，我的腦袋緊張得快要炸開似的，說真格的，如果每所小學都像本校選手實力雄厚，我定會困難重重，可現場狀況完全不是這樣。第一輪迴合﹕我得了43分﹔第二輪迴合：我得了42分﹔第三輪迴合：我得了37分，總計122分。因為每一輪所有題卡加起來總積分是50多分，所以能夠得到40分上下應該算蠻不錯的成績，而這正好反映出我是怎樣贏得該場比賽的，各個回合我都爭取主動。你也許會說我玩得很溜，實際上我確實非常投入，因此第一名非我莫屬。

        然而最為突出的較量結果是我比第二名高出22分，不過我略感美中不足。去年，一位初中一年級名叫JP的選手創下131分最好成績，而今天我的分數比他差了一點，興許明年等我像他那麼大的時候，還有機會再度挑戰記錄，懷揣期待並做好準備，相信我能如願以償。
