        如果我是老师，我一定对学生和善可亲。

        遇到调皮捣蛋不听话的学生，我肯定不会要求家长惩罚自己的孩子，叫他(她)一个月都玩不成任何游戏！

        对于做不完考题的学生，我既不会告知校长，也不会发送电子邮件立刻向其父母告状。相反，我仍会给他(她)发水果彩虹糖，帮助提高自信能力。

        我最喜欢教学生们做的就是写作。说错话、写错字都没有关系，语法不对也算不了什么，只要他们能写出自己想写的东西，最后每人都有一块巧克力。

        我不想给学生们增添课外负担，每天只要完成一页家庭作业，就能得到最高奖励──一块棒棒糖。

        假如学生们乐于读书，我将把教室变成图书馆，不管兴趣在哪里，不管爱好是什么。我会准备大量的太妃乳脂糖，鼓励他们与书为友。

        假如学生们热爱科学，我将帮助他们做各种各样的课题。他们可以做有趣的实验，我来替他们做没人爱做的记录。

        社会课程里，我将要求学生们牢记五大洋七大洲。如果背不下来的话，我允许他们查看地图、对照图片、翻动地球仪、甚至上网咨询，直到记住为止。

        教室是学习的天堂，我绝不会让它成为无聊、乏味、甚至叫人害怕的地狱。我还要延长课间休息时间，叫学生尽兴开心，无忧无虑。

        不过，现在我还是一位小学三年级的学生，需要好好学习，努力掌握本领，有一天才有可能像我的老师一样教授他人。

        If I were a teacher, I would be really strick.

        If students did not behave, I would tell parents to ground them for a month of no games. If they hadn't finished a test, I would send them to the principal's office and e-mail their parents the very next second.

I would like to make students bored, tired, or maybe even scared. When they have recess, half the time they will be playing and the other half they'll be sitting in the classroom. I would have them do at least 10 pages of home works.

        My favorite stuff to do to children is to ask them to write a 10-page essay. If a word is spelled wrong, they will then write it 200 times. If their grammar is wrong, I'll have them read all of the other essays from the class to see how they should have done it. I might even say "No Bathrooms" to everyone in my class.

        If the students like to read, too bad! Books are not allowed in my class. Or maybe they will like science? However, I will do the cool stuff of the project and they will do the writing work.

        I would expect that students fell asleep if I were their teacher. But at the end of the day, they'll get a Popsicle. It sounds awesome! I don't even care if it is cold in winter.

        In social studies, I would have them memorize the world's continents. Anyway, I don't have any maps, globes, or pictures of the earth. Those aren't permitted either. Basically, I would not provide anything except for their homework.

        Right now, I have to be taught by a teacher. Maybe one day I could teach you.

【前言】

        宾州光华中文学校举行首届有奖征文比赛，标题是“如果我是……”。今天恰逢屋外雪花飘舞，这是今年的第一场大雪。白天突然停电将近三个钟头，明摆着哪都去不成，什么电子游戏都不灵光！天赐良机，孩子终于有了大部头时间！不得不放下手中其它“活计”，孩子反倒一下子忙叨出两篇符合题意但内容截然不同的版本：中文的阳光温馨，看后心里比蜜还甜；英文的滑稽可恶，必须放到镜子前面反过来阅读。
