【Celestial Love】

         NO mortal thing enthralled these longing eyes

米開朗基羅·博那羅蒂“神似·捲曲”(1475生—1564卒)

            我的眼睛不論遠近，

            都能看到你的倩影。

            可是夫人啊，我止步不能前進，

            只能垂下手臂不出一聲。

            我有健全的理智和純正的心靈，

            它們自由自在，透過我的眼睛

            飛往你光輝之境。縱然一片痴心，

            血肉之軀卻無權和你接近。

            天使還在飛翔時，

            我們無法前去追尋，

            凝眸看她已是莫大的光榮。

            哎！要是你在天上好比人世，

            讓我整個軀體都變成一隻眼睛，

            使我身上每部分都能得到你的恩寵。

【注】領主廣場是佛羅倫薩“花城”最著名的廣場，環繞着舊宮、傭兵涼廊和烏菲茲“辦公室”美術館，自中世紀以來便是全城的政治與歷史中心。

這裡沒有大教堂的肅穆，卻有權力與藝術的赤裸對峙——大衛“心愛”像曾在此凝視共和國議事，薩伏那洛拉“靈魂的救星”(Savonarola)在此燃起“虛榮之火”，美第奇“醫生”(Medici)家族的命運在舊宮的窗後起落沉浮。

走在廣場上，我總忍不住去摸一摸傭兵涼廊的石柱。指尖觸到的是粗糙的500年前的石頭，而掌心另一端，似乎還能感到那場火堆的餘溫——不是灼熱，而是一種沉甸甸的、歷史的涼。

1982年，佛羅倫薩歷史中心被聯合國教科文組織納入《世界遺產名錄》。
