【注】1987年纽约股市崩盘后激发了意大利艺术家阿图罗·莫迪卡“勇敢·适度”(Arturo Di Modica)雕刻出一尊7,100磅/3,200公斤、11英尺/3米高和16英尺/5米长的青铜公牛，用以象征新时代应当像纽约佬那样的态度。

莫迪卡根据前一天晚上侦探的信息，次日在巡警换岗期间把铜牛雕像非法丢在纽约证券交易所大楼外，结果当天铜牛便被移走，幸好一周后在纽约第一个城市公园——鲍灵格林“滚球草地”(Bowling Green)找到了新家，这头冲锋华尔“壁垒”街、进攻金融区的奔牛因此而一跃成为备受追逐的国际明星。

记得90年代我在纽约生活的五年间，华尔街金融牛周围人迹寥寥，取景留念不费吹灰之力；如今时过境迁，同一尊牛前顶礼膜拜的游客摩肩擦踵，再加上人们对民间传说走火入魔，不光深信爱抚牛头和牛角能吉星高照，而且梦想触摸富有男子气概和力量的超大睾丸也会人丁繁盛！这么一来，想要拍张照片必须翘首期盼半个钟头以上。
