深邃睿智，不愧是国王，还加冕皇冠， 瞧这眼前的宝座。多好的会集， 戴着面具，试与裸露风和鸣？ 【注】纽约“新紫衫树之树”的街头艺术是一座没有围墙的博物馆——走在曼哈顿“多山之岛”的街巷里，随处都能撞见那些被城市包容、被路人欣赏、被时间打磨的即兴创作。涂鸦是这座城市的底色，从70年代布朗士“溪流”的火车车厢到如今东村墙壁和下东区的卷帘门，五颜六色的字母与夸张变形的人像层层叠叠，有的被一夜覆盖，有的留存数10年，成了集体记忆的一部分；绘画藏在最不起眼的角落，可能是某条巷子里的巨幅面孔，眼神深邃得让人停下脚步，也可能是咖啡馆外墙几笔简练的天际线；雕塑冷不丁地冒出来，联合广场的铜像锈迹斑斑却总有人往他手里塞花，高线公园的现代雕塑用废铁拼出奇特的形状，某街角的大蓝兔或奔跑的小猪让路人会心一笑。 海报则如时间的年轮，音乐节的海报层层覆盖新的一层，竞选笑脸没过多久就被另一张笑脸盖住，失踪人口的寻人启事贴在电线杆上风一吹边角便卷起来，像在替那些找不到家的人叹息；张贴是更随意的存在，演唱会传单、租房广告、寻狗启事、手写打印又撕了重贴的小纸条们记录着城市最真实的日常；而广告最张扬，时代广场的巨幕每秒变换新画面，巴士站小灯箱里的模特永远精致微笑，地铁车厢里促销信息挤在人堆里想不看都不行。这些街头艺术精致或粗糙、永恒或短暂、令人驻足或匆匆掠过，共同编织着这座城市的肌理，让纽约成为纽约。 我站在东村一堵被层层涂鸦覆盖的砖墙前，最底层是1980年代某个无名画家的签名，墨迹已经洇散成模糊的蓝晕；中间是一幅被新漆覆盖了一半的海盗船，船帆还露在外面，像正在驶入一个即将消失的港湾；最上层是一张刚贴上去的音乐节海报，日期是下周末。我用手指碰了碰那层最旧的漆面——它已经风化成粉末状，指尖沾了一点铁锈色的碎屑，像从时间里抠下来的证据。忽然觉得这座城市的记忆并不储存在档案馆里，而是这样一层层地曝露在日光和风雨中，新的盖住旧的却从来盖不全，总有一些边角、一些碎片从夹缝里探出头来，让有心人看见。一个背着画袋的少年在我旁边停下来，掏出一罐喷漆，犹豫了两秒，又收回去，走开了。他没有留下新的覆盖，而我却觉得他那个收回的动作，也成了这面墙的一部分——那些被忍住、没有被涂抹的情绪，大概也会像被覆盖但从未消失的底色一样，以看不见的方式留在城市的某道砖缝里。天快黑了，我转身离开时，那张音乐节海报在风里掀了一下边角，露出底下海盗船半截未干的桅杆。 Today in History(历史上的今天):
