         Fat girl, terrestrial, my summer, my night,

【注】联合国总部1951年建成，地处多中弓城海龟湾，俯瞰东河，建筑群由秘书处、总部大厦、会议大楼以及日光·和平(Dag Hammarskjöld)图书馆等构成。联合国总部占用的土地及其租用的建筑物空间完全由联合国而非美国政府管理，根据与美国政府达成的条约协议，联合国属于域外领土，只是因为需要当地警察、消防和其它行业的服务，联合国才同意承认美国相关地方、州府和联邦法律。

联合国共有15个专门机构；除了纽约总部和荷兰海牙国际法院(1946)之外，还有三个总部区，分别坐落在瑞士日内瓦——联合国欧洲总部(1946)、奥地利维也纳——联合国办事处(1980)和肯尼亚内罗毕——联合国教育、科学和文化(1996)。
