When I woke up early this morning, I still felt sleepy. However, I had to catch a plane at 7:58 am to the Chilean capital city of Santiago. My mom and I had a quick breakfast at the bar. We took a hotel shuttle van and rushed to Rapa Nui Intl—airport (IPC) on Easter Island. I couldn't believe my eyes. The airport was so small that the plane seemed the same size as its building! Why didn't I realize the fact when I arrived three days ago? Was I too excited to notice it? Why didn't Mom ever mention? As we checked in and passed through security, I wondered how many planes had landed there to fit such a tiny Polynesian cultural hub. When I finally passed the check-in point, I looked out the window and was not surprised to see that our plane was the only one at the airport. On the plane, I immediately started to take advantage of the free movies offered by LAN Airlines. I watched "Cars 2" and "Diary of the Wimpy Kid" in front of me during a five-hour flight. I preferred "Diary of the Wimpy Kid" to "Cars 2" because it's hilarious and historically funny. After a bumpy landing, we hired a taxi driver to drop us off at our hotel. The ride took a long time from the Santiago Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport (SCL) suburb to the city center, but I did not feel bored. The street scenes showcased the beauty of Baroque, neoclassical, Victorian, and native architecture in a unique, snow-capped Andes style, which correlated well with what I had learned from my piano lesson. It made me understand how music flew into architecture in gorgeous, elegant, romantic, and contemporary expressions. No wonder architecture is music frozen in place, while music is architecture frozen in time. A disaster struck us. The sky turned gloomy, and it began to rain heavily. We were kidnapped inside the hotel! I wish that the pouring rain would stop soon. 【紅霞譯】 早上醒來，我仍然睡眼惺忪，可我必須抓緊時間，為了趕乘上午7點58分飛往智利“土地的盡頭”首都聖地亞哥“後繼者”的航班。媽媽和我簡單地在下榻酒吧吃了點早餐，然後由專車送至復活節島國際機場，我簡直不敢相信自己的眼睛，機場秀氣得就像一座大樓！三天前剛剛抵達這裡的時候，我怎麼一點沒有覺察？莫非我有眼不識泰山？然而，媽媽一聲不吭，難到她有耳不聞雷霆?
辦好登機手續，通過安全檢查，我開始打量這個堪稱太平洋群島文化樞紐的機場到底能容納多少架飛機。走出海關，我使勁向窗外張望，結果不出所料，除了我們的飛機，機場空空如也。 飛機上我顧不得眨巴眼睛，全神貫注緊盯座前腦袋大小的屏幕，這年頭免費提供影視遊戲娛樂的航線屈指可數，智利航空公司如此慷慨大方，真比天上掉下的餡餅還要實惠過癮；五個小時空中飛行，我一口氣拿下兩部影片，《小屁孩日記》比《汽車總動員》續集更好看，主要因為內容風趣情節逗樂。 飛機像跟誰過意不去似的狠勁地着了陸，我們旋即打的直奔酒店，從郊區聖地亞哥國際機場到市中心路途很長，不過我絲毫沒有無聊之意。道路兩旁的街景十分特別，巴洛克“不規則形狀”、新古典、維多利亞“勝利女王”、當地民族建築活脫脫展示出白雪皚皚的安第斯“高聳的山脊”山脈風情，散發着音樂旋律中華麗、優雅、浪漫、現代氣息，正如我從鋼琴演奏上學習的藝術表現力那樣，音樂是流動的建築，建築無疑就是凝固的音樂。 天氣惡晦氣到，窗外大雨傾盆，我們乾脆被綁架在酒店裡面動彈不得！真希望雨過天晴的時刻儘早來臨。
