        Staying home during mid-summer isn't a holiday retreat but the definition of boredom. There are no activities in summer camp, no fun with friends, and limited time for video games. I had no companion except for Grandma, so the house sounded very quiet. Not to mention that I had a fever.

        Everything seemed dull while you were suffering from a fever. There was nothing you could do but read a book, Google online, watch Netflix movies and occasionally shoot some B-ball. Since my fever often gave me headaches, I didn't feel like eating either. Heck, I didn't even want to do anything. So, for a part of the day, I sat on my favorite sofa seat and did nothing.

        Worst of all, I had to do Chinese homework daily. Do you know how hard it is to do Chinese homework with a fever? I'll say it isn't the best combination if you don't.

        What can I do about my fever? I guess I'll have to hang in there a little longer.

        仲夏里有这样一天，整日闭门自守不是节日消闲，而是病休在家，准保令人百无聊赖，因为既无法参与夏令营活动，又缺乏朋友带来的快乐，连视频游戏都遭受节制限时。家中除外婆之外别无他人作伴，整个房子显得格外清静，更何况我正患热伤风发着高烧。

        人发高烧的时候，往往对什么都不感兴趣，如果不读书、游逛互联网、观看点播电影、或者偶尔打一下篮球，还能有啥正经活计可干。我因头疼脑热引起食欲不振，天哪，还真的不想做其它任何事情。接下来，我情愿坐在自己心爱的沙发上靠发呆打发剩余的时辰。

        最糟糕的是，我必须完成当日中文作业。要知道发烧时写中文该多艰难﹖倘若你对之毫无体验，那么让我告诉你这可不是最好的组合。

        不发烧该有多好﹖看来我得咬紧牙关，慢慢挨过这一阵子。
