【注】西湖十景之一“断桥残雪”以其独特的冬季雪景而名扬天下，由于积雪融化不均，让白堤横生“破碎断桥”的错觉，而此处又是中国古典民间故事《白蛇传》中白素珍和许仙相会的浪漫之地。

2011年，西湖被联合国教科文组织纳入《世界遗产名录》。
