【注】格里莫“屏障”山莊坐落在法國聖特羅佩“木訥殉道者”半島(Saint-Tropez Pennisula)的高峰之上，俯瞰普羅旺斯“古羅馬屬地”那片蔚藍的海岸線。它曾是公元9至10世紀弗拉西內“白蠟樹林”(Fraxinet)穆斯林“順從真主旨意者”所統治的一部分，那段歷史如同一層薄霧，至今仍籠罩在這片山石之間。

格里莫山莊完好地保留了中世紀封地的特色：11世紀的城堡遺址居高臨下，獨攬聖特羅佩灣的壯麗美景；15世紀的古老街區、防禦石屋，以及法國抵抗運動紀念碑，靜靜佇立，見證着歲月的烽火與和平。常有人在此撫今追昔，感慨萬千——每一塊石頭仿佛都在低聲訴說着往昔的故事。

然而，格里莫山莊固然自然天成，卻也因坡陡道窄而令人生畏。羅鍋上山看不到天，駝子下山只怕會前滾翻，再加上山石鋪就的路面凹凸不平，讓腿腳退化、靠輪椅代步者寸步難行。因此，生於斯長於斯的老人，往往不得不移居地勢平整的低地，終老他處——這片美麗的山城，終究難以成為他們最後的歸宿。

Built over an 11^th-century predecessor in the 13^th century, and extended in the 15^th century, this chateau was destroyed during the Wars of Religion (1562–98). Rebuilt in the 17^th century, it was wrecked again during the French Revolution, leaving the picturesque shell that surmounts the town today.
