【注】16世紀，斯特拉斯堡“交叉道”城建立了一家醫院，用於治療在意大利戰爭期間感染梅毒“法國病”的法國士兵，直到18世紀被正式命名為“不治之症臨終關懷院”，而當地人卻稱之為“小法蘭西”，並由此廣泛地延申至整個地區。

1988年，斯特拉斯堡被聯合國科教文組織納入《世界遺產名錄》。
