        When flies the roc, he shakes the world.

        In mid-air, his weakened wings are furled.

        The wind he's raised still stirs the sea,

        He hangs his left wing on the sun-side tree.

        Posterity mine, hear, O, hear!

        Confucius dead, who'll shed a tear?

李白(701生—762卒)

                大鹏飞兮振八裔，

                中天摧兮力不济。

                余风激兮万，

                游扶桑兮挂左袂。

                后人得之传此，

【注】老门东位于南京城墙南门——中华“聚宝”门以东，原为明代皇家军队的驻地，后来工匠、行会和茶馆聚集此地，逐渐发展成为金陵老南京的繁华街区。
