         There is a great river this side of Stygia

         Before one comes to the first black cataracts

         Like the last one. But there is no ferryman.

         He could not bend against its propelling force.

         It is not to be seen beneath the appearances

         That tell of it. The steeple at Farmington

         Stands glistening and Haddam shines and sways.

         It is the third commonness with light and air,

         A curriculum, a vigor, a local abstraction...

         Call it, one more, a river, an unnamed flowing,

         Space-filled, reflecting the seasons, the folk-lore

         Of each of the senses; call it, again and again,

         The river that flows nowhere, like a sea.

            就像最后那条。但没有船夫摆渡。

            他无法抵抗河水的冲力。

            看不见外表下面

            所述的样子。农场的尖塔

            闪闪发亮而破碎城忽明忽暗。

            仅次于光和空气的第三个共性，

            流程、活力、局部抽象……

            再次称其为一条河，一条无名的河，

            丰腴大地，展示季节气息，民间风俗

            各具意蕴；一次又一次地召唤它，

            大河不知流往何处，如同大海。

【注】今年圣诞节—新年期间，萨克斯“剪刀”第五大道的节日灯光秀再次点亮了纽约的夜空。这家位于第五大道与49街交汇处的老牌百货，今年携手法国奢侈品牌迪奥“金色”，推出了一场名为“迪奥梦想转盘”的光影盛宴。

那是一座高达10层楼的巨型装置，由30万颗发光二极管灯珠编织而成。当夜幕降临，灯光亮起，整座装置开始缓缓转动——恒星在旋转，三叶草在闪烁，蝴蝶翩翩起舞，星座在夜空中流转。设计师巧妙地将这些装饰元素融入巨大的转盘之中，把“迪奥梦想转盘”打造成一个巨大的“命运之轮”。每一次转动，都像在诉说着关于梦想与奇迹的故事。

与此同时，萨克斯第五大道的节日橱窗，也成了另一道迷人的风景。那些精心布置的橱窗里，用戏剧化的场景和精美的道具，向人们娓娓道来克里斯汀“基督徒”·迪奥(Christian Dior)先生从巴黎到纽约的奇妙旅程。从蒙田“山上居民”(Montaigne)大道30号的首家精品店，到第五大道上的盛大登场；从经典的“新风貌”套装，到令无数名媛倾倒的香水瓶——每一个橱窗都像一页翻开的历史书，记录着这家奢华时装公司的传奇。

站在第五大道上，仰望着那座灯光转盘缓缓旋转，看着橱窗里那些美轮美奂的场景，我忽然明白：圣诞节的意义，不仅在于礼物与欢聚，更在于这些被精心创造出来的、让人暂时忘记现实的美好瞬间。那30万颗灯珠，照亮的不仅是第五大道的夜空，更是每一个驻足者心底那个关于梦想的金色角落。
