| | 2012-07-04 美国国庆节 在美国，甭管联邦大的传统或者州立小的风俗，每逢节假日，人们往往以集市的方式从四面八方聚首于庆祝现场，围坐在临时搭建而成的简陋舞台周围，听一曲流行小唱，来一杯冰喳冷饮，吃一顿热狗皮萨，聊天拉呱各抒己见。 我家童少特别喜欢这种过节的方式，因此经常穿梭与热闹之中乐此不疲，不仅精神上充分享受轻松快乐的氛围，而且物质上多加饱尝非同寻常的待遇。倘若节日恰巧跟周末两天相遇，他准保叫逍遥星期五(Fat Friday)胖得喘起来，非得让狂热星期一(Manic Monday)得瑟回老家。
俗话说：“年怕中秋月怕半，星期就怕礼拜三”！撇开其原意蕴含的时间感紧迫感责任感使命感不谈，今年独立节确实来的非常“寸”，恰好落在一周的中轴日上，前不着超级星期六，后不靠安息星期天，虽然仍为公休大喜的日子，我们却少了以往长周末一连三天放假过节的感觉。况且最近两周来美国东部大西洋沿岸地区持续不断的高温天气(95─101oF/35─38oC)，别说大人们整天被囚禁在房舍屋内，就连一向喜欢户外抛肌肉洒热汗的童儿少男也几乎断了出门的念头。幸亏，烟花澹荡夜空，爆竹驱散热浪，我们与当地同胞一起才过上了第236个普通而别样的国庆节。
