| | 2012-03-05 “妈妈，”孩子开门见山，问：“你喜欢傻瓜(Dummy)还是笨蛋(Idiot)？” 我知道孩子又在寻开心，故意制造恶作剧，这种玩笑对大人们而言的确无聊乏味，可搁在九岁童少面前却变得相当有趣。类似的话题还有很多，但翻来复去离不开要么选择“王八”，否则充当“乌龟”，两者必居其一，反正都不是什么好听的东西。
今天我不同往常，借着孩子的话把，有意道出另一种意义上“傻”和“笨”。
在中国，人们非常信奉“大智若愚”，也就是说，情商很高的聪明志士注重心智内秀而不露锋芒，常常避免炫耀自己，因此这样的人表面上看起来好像一个平庸愚蠢的笨蛋，或者什么都不知道的傻瓜。
“可在美国，”孩子不等听完，赶紧插进话来表明自己的看法：“傻瓜就是傻瓜，笨蛋就是笨蛋！”
对于一位美国出生长大的孩子，从现在学习的课堂直到将来工作的场所，开放活跃的自然环境和轻松闲适的生活氛围，无不给孩子的成长提供了既阳光向上又单纯率性的健康土壤，况且学校又特别重视语言表达能力的培养，大力提倡学生能言善辩，并在德智体各个方面彰显个人才能，所以在孩子幼小的心灵中，人可以谦虚谨慎，但不能大智若愚。  Silly Kids (搞怪 01-21-2012)
