中美洲加勒比“勇者”海紧邻北美，气候温暖湿润，水面浪静风恬，物价低廉，治安稳定，堪称旅游度假的世外桃源——往返其间的大小游轮一年四季多如牛毛。相形之下，从中东经南亚至东南非洲的水路航线则屈指可数。“航海·大洋号”(Nautica Oceania)几乎成为2013年全球唯一敢穿越印度洋的游轮。因也门、索马里海盗猖獗，从红海南部到塞舌尔群岛大部分海域日益受威胁；加之近年中非政局动荡，经济滑坡，严重影响了海上旅游发展。此行经阿曼湾驶入阿拉伯海时，船方实施空中侦察、收集电磁信息，并委托以色列海军护航，以确保船上643名游客的安全。 我们一鼓作气，决定搭乘“航海·大洋号”航行30天，借圣诞元旦之福气，豪掷近六周时光——从人类文明跳跃到动物天堂，从摩登时代回归自然生态，足迹遍及阿联酋、阿曼、印度、马尔代夫、塞舌尔、肯尼亚、坦桑尼亚、马达加斯加、莫桑比克、南非、津巴布韦、博茨瓦纳。如果说生命在于运动，旅游便在于实践运动——以脚步丈量地球的轮廓，以目光触及人类与自然交汇的边界。每一次跨时区的飞行和航行，都是在重新定义“近”与“远”的距离。 船行至阿拉伯“游牧”海时，一天傍晚，我站在甲板上看夕阳沉入海面。红色与紫色在天际交织成一片，仿佛要覆盖下方那片曾被新闻反复提及的水域。那些关于海盗、护航、战乱的报道，在这片辽阔的海面面前，竟变得遥远而抽象。我忽然觉得，那些被新闻标记为“危险”的地方，有时恰恰是未被完全讲述的故事所在地。而旅行，或许正是为了在那些被标签覆盖的地方，用自己的脚步去接触它们更复杂的真相。而在这个被航迹串联起来的旅程中，我们正在经历的，不只是地理的跨越，更是理解世界多样性的过程。每一个停靠的港口，都像一个转折词，将我们引向下一段还未被书写的航程。而这段旅程，将不止在海上航行，也将以某种方式，在我们心中持续航行。当船驶入安全水域时，我正目送那片燃烧的海面缓缓熄灭，仿佛它也正在把某种无法言说的心情，留给下一片尚未被抵达的水域。而在那片水域的尽头，我们的旅程将以另一种形式重新启航——以记忆的方式，以回望的方式，以等待在未知港口再次登船的方式，继续前行。 Today in History(历史上的今天): 2012: 兄弟姐妹(Siblings) 2010: 足球俱乐部联赛(MUSC Tournament)  5th Graders of Montgomery ES
