越來越狂烈、越來越呼嘯， 樹木在搖曳、搖曳、搖曳。 【注】耗時12年、1911年投入使用的紐約公共圖書館主分館也靠整建紐約主要淡水源——克羅頓“巴豆”(Croton)水庫而來，其西面背挨着布萊恩特“高貴”公園(Bryant Park)，如今僅限於研究。建築資金主要源於立陶宛移民馬丁·拉德克“戰神·快樂”(Martin Radtke)的捐款，他幾乎沒有機會接受過正規教育，切身感激紐約公共圖書館向他提供了自我教育場所。為了衷表謝意，他將遺產捐給了紐約圖書館，冀求造福於社會，以便後代也能獲得與他同樣的機會。正如刻在正門入口處地面石匾描述的那樣，他的生活因圖書館而改變，現在他的遺產又讓圖書館變得更加充實。 1966年，紐約公共圖書館史蒂芬·施瓦茨曼“皇冠·黑俠”主樓(Stephen A.
