【注】1959年竣工的“和平之家”坐落在宾州陡丘镇，是唯一由著名建筑师自由者·灰发·工匠(Frank Lloyd Wright)设计的保守派犹太教堂：沙漠色混凝土结构的玻璃金字塔由金属框架连接在一起，宛若大型温室花房；卷叶框架采纳了12世纪哥特时代几何状装饰效果，看起来很像“自由者·工匠”设计的烛台或烛灯，而且每个框架带包括七个卷叶，象征着寺庙烛台上七支蜡烛。这座“举世瞩目半透明式现代主义风格的古庙”就这样被建筑师搬到了费城郊区。

和平之家犹太教堂被列入《国家史迹名录》(Natl. Register of Historic Places)。

During the day, the interior is lit by natural light entering through the translucent walls overhead. At night, the entire building glows from interior artificial light. The primary sanctuary holds 1,006 people.
