       Is there an imagination that sits enthroned

       As grim as it is benevolent, the just

       And the unjust, which in the midst of summer stops

            並昭告天下，玄色的白造物主，噴刷

            黑暗，甚而包括行星，

            乃至地球，還有景象，白雪皚皚的世界，

            除非威嚴所需，

            天空中，顯示皇冠和鑽石奧秘？

            它躍過我們，穿越所有的天堂，

            讓行星熄滅，一顆接着一顆，

            絕塵離去，大家居住的家園，彼此相識的

            故土和我們思想的地方，

            破碎的殘餘，變得冰冷而被遺忘，

            除了皇冠和鑽石奧秘。

            但不敢趁黑夜偶然地雀躍。

            它必須把天意改得任性一點。

            於是噴刷慘劇、碑石

            形狀和悲傷行為去尋找

            破壞它的東西，最終，真的能夠，

            這麼說，月光下草率的溝通。

在美國，紐約大學並非屬於唯一沒有圍牆的大學，但絕對算得上最為奇葩的校園，因為置身教學樓內外，你不僅能聞到唐人街意大利城飄進的飯香，而且還可嗅出華爾街金融區刮來的銅臭，在校生的臉上總是洋溢着百老匯式歡快的喜悅。

今年八月，文理學院首開先河，將“難為”想學醫的本科生、現年84歲有機化學教授小梅特蘭·瓊斯“草甸·神慈之子”(Maitland Jones Jr.)掃地出門，學生想拿文憑的願望與教師把握教育的尺度在高昂學費的天平上終於失衡，由此展開人性與現實的辯論。

如今人們擁有無限的需求，但滿足這種需求的資源極其有限，於是勢必要面臨選擇，而選擇的結果就是在追求某些事情的同時必須放棄其它。
