            岩石呈人生的灰质特征，

            他从上面站起来的石头，嚯，

            通往无尽深渊的台阶……

            岩石呈空气的严肃特征，

            行星之镜，一颗接着一颗，

            但通过人的眼睛，沉默的狂诗家，

            岩石呈蓝绿色，在讨厌的夜晚

            明亮带着红色紧随恶梦；

            黎明时难以辨别。

            岩石是整个的居所，

            其力量和尺度都在附近，A点

【注】“哥伦布公园在哪？”我手握定位失灵的谷歌导航，站在运河街与百老汇交道口，把目光投向眼前正热情指挥早高峰过往行人、看似印度裔的交通警身上。

“你找孙中山？”他会意地笑着问。

我喜出望外！按照活地图的指示，我不仅见着了中华民国的开国元勋，而且还遇到了春秋时期的孔老夫子，并重新走进了既熟悉又陌生位于曼哈顿下城的华埠及小意大利城。

最近离家较近的费城华埠开了一家连锁店——“江南”中餐馆，自称演绎出传统与创新融合的美食交响曲，对吴地一带江南菜系情有独钟的我来说，这次北上纽约正想领略“江南”大本营正宗的徐海、淮扬、金陵和苏帮等风味，哪怕浙菜或徽菜也成。不出所料地，“江南”中餐馆只是儒雅别号而非特色烹饪，它侧重的融合多于传统，譬如：北京烤鸭、四川水煮鱼、新疆孜然羊、广东白切鸡等非江南风味特色菜引领菜谱食潮流，归根结底“江南”中餐馆以市场需求为导向，谁叫正宗的苏菜响油鳝糊无法打动纽约仔的味蕾呢?

2010年，华埠与小意大利城被纳入《美国国家历史遗迹名录》。
